        I don't think Shanks knows Ace is related to Luffy but if he does, I'm not surprised. Shanks asking WB to stop Ace has more to do with BB than Ace imo. Shanks was trying to warn WB of BB's danger and saving Ace was just something that came after that. If Ace hadn't gone after BB, Shanks would still have come to talk with WB about BB I believe.
