As the title suggests, I'm currently searching for good anime films that have the "feels" factor similar to Your Name (Kimi No Na Wa) before. It doesn't have to be as great overall as Your Name itself, but something similar in vibe is fine.

I haven’t seen that one but there were adverts for it when I went to see “I want to eat Your Pancreas”. Also “The Sound Of Silence” was really good as well. Actually “Mirai” was pretty touchy feely.

I just checked out the trailers, and all of them seems like a hit for me except maybe Mirai. The beginning parts of it were cute and kinda reminded me of Studio Ghibli films, but then later on, it suddenly got a bit weird and surrealistic in some parts. Don't get me wrong though, the premise and animation is actually interesting, and I might check it out in the future. But right now, I don't think it's the right kind of feels movie that I'm searching for.

Thanks for the suggestions though! Also, you have to try "Your Name"! I don't quite often promote anime films since I don't watch much of them really, but I can guarantee you that it's a homerunner. Well, at least that's how I see it, along with the astounding number of positive reviews that it received back then.

I think Mirai is from the new studio that’s continuing the Miyazaki legacy, IIRC. I could be mistaken on that one though. I saw it with a Fathom Event. Also there’s a movie coming to theatres this month as part of GhibliFest that I haven’t seen a trailer for yet but am trying to go see based on the description. https://www.fathomevents.com/events/studio-ghibli-fest-2019-the-secret-world-of-arrietty There’s also a trailer here though. ^_^ Oh and I hope you found the right movie, it’s called A Silent Voice, I dunno what I was thinking, my bad.

Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) is the best anime film I've seen as far as "feels" go - I'd even go as far as saying it's better than Kimi no Na Wa

This one's okay too, not quite the level of Kimi no Na Wa but it's okay.

Another one I quite enjoyed was The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Koe no Katachi is a must watch! I actually prefer it over Kimo no Na Wa as well.

Wolf Children is another one of my favourites, definitely got feels as well.

You could always find something within the collection of Ghibli masterpieces as well but idk if that's what you're searching for. If you want something that makes you cry then you have to watch Grave of the Fireflies.

The girl who leapt through time is very good, although I think they could have worked better on the time travel theme.

Gonna check that first one you mentioned.

I also recommend silent voice (there is a manga) and wolf childeren. The manga of silent voice had me teary a couple of times, so don't ask what extra audiovisual signals would do to my eyes.

Holy crap I kinda didn't expect these much in a short period of time. Well, it's not really a lot but damn I feel like doing a marathon for all these. Dunno if I'll survive a day full of feels though, but I appreciate all the suggestions!

I also read the manga, it was great! Maybe that's why I actually prefer that over Kimi no Na Wa because I read Koe no Katachi's manga before I watched the movie so I was excited for it :D

I can't usually really connect enough in 2 hours to cry over a movie, but movies that have a series to back them up like the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya get a reaction out of me.

And I don't know about you guys, but that awful Digimon mishmash movie has a special place in my heart. Especially this dumb song:
