Kinda sad, exactly. Poor parenting.
Hard to give what you never learned. It’s a cycle. A sad one but one nonetheless.
Does changing the story implies to the end of the series or for the whole story
whatever fans guess right, Oda feels a need to change it, be it the end of the story or anything in the midst of it. That's worrisome though.
As always, you're making a reliable theory. Thumbs up!
Anyways, Pudding can manipulate memories as she please, as I remember, she did it to all the chef's to believe that she and Sanji are married when they were re-creating the Wedding Cake. In the other opinion, I cannot comprehend when Big Mom's brat plotting to throw her away and leave her into an enemy's territory. It's so brutal and disrespectful. Even I can tell that they are so loyal to their family and to Big Mom. Perhaps, they could just leave her in an empty island alone.
That was so sad in Big Mom's part to be always left by her loved ones.
I don't think that Pudding would had erase Big Mom's memories. Actually I don't believe that she came to Wano with Big Mom pirates at all.
Big Mom wishes that Pudding would wake her ability to "hear the voice of all things", so I don't think that Big Mom would take Pudding to Wano with her.
except that Pudding has a flying carpet ( Rabian ) that she can use to follow the ship
Oh, yeah. I forgot that carpet. But I still believe that Pudding didn't erase Big Mom's memories.
Quickly browsed though so I don't think this got brought up: Perospero is the one who tells us the entire crew is done for without Big Mom. Content supports this in that Katakuri is BY FAR, the weakest Yonkou executive. The crew has numbers, but a big part of this is the Homies. They aren't stupid enough to get rid of Big Mom (they all lose their luxurious way of life without her).
Yes, it is an interesting alternative and fits rationally in pretty much every other aspect. I'll reference the 100% connectivity since it sounds like every fan is underestimating how much planning Oda does for real content. Probably a good thing I was distracted with other discussions for a while.
