I've been sewing for nearly a year now and I think the time has arrived for me to share some of my projects Be gentle because a year in sewing still means I have yet a lot to learn and new techniques to explore. My projects: Spoiler: 1. Warm fuzzy Sweater Front: Back: I made this as a gift for a very dear friend She is usually very cold so I used fabric that is normally seen on blankets and stuff. Pro's: It fit her quite nicely ( Thank god! ). I'm proud of my opening in the back, first time I did something like that, also I liked how the sleeves turned out. This was exactly what I had pictured. Con's: This fabric is sooooo slippery.. Also whenever you cut it a lot of that fur falls along as well, which afterward literally filled the room with dust. My throat is begging for help. Update! Spoiler: 2. Kitty Case Closed: Open: This was a small case I made for my mom. It's made for iPads and other tablets, or her purse's essentials (which is what she uses it for xD) Pro's: It turned out pretty cute :3 . The fabric and lining where easy to manoeuvre. Con's: The eyes... So much trouble.... It is a test of true patience. The smaller the objects you sew, the harder it gets. Still, I love dorky stuff so I make stuff like this very often Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see or any suggestions on what my future projects could be. I still have a lot of pictures and projects to photograph!
