I've been sewing for nearly a year now and I think the time has arrived for me to share some of my projects

Be gentle because a year in sewing still means I have yet a lot to learn and new techniques to explore.

    My projects:

    Front: 16129799_1204737572913282_1498973574_o.jpg

    Back:
    16129724_1204737392913300_1694362717_o.jpg

I made this as a gift for a very dear friend  She is usually very cold so I used fabric that is normally seen on blankets and stuff.

Pro's: It fit her quite nicely ( Thank god! ). I'm proud of my opening in the back, first time I did something like that, also I liked how the sleeves turned out. This was exactly what I had pictured.
Con's: This fabric is sooooo slippery.. Also whenever you cut it a lot of that fur falls along as well, which afterward literally filled the room with dust. My throat is begging for help.

    Update!

This was a small case I made for my mom. It's made for iPads and other tablets, or her purse's essentials (which is what she uses it for xD)

Pro's: It turned out pretty cute :3 . The fabric and lining where easy to manoeuvre.
Con's: The eyes... So much trouble.... It is a test of true patience. The smaller the objects you sew, the harder it gets. Still, I love dorky stuff so I make stuff like this very often

Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see or any suggestions on what my future projects could be. I still have a lot of pictures and projects to photograph!

Awesoooooome! I always admire when people know how to sew/knit/crochet because I don't have the faintest idea how to do that. Keep it up Cossy. That sweater looks perfect for someone who gets cold easily.

Thanks a lot guys  I'll keep posting them then!

About 5 intense hours. This was not a particularly large project.

The first project I made was a really simple pouch. At the end I was like "Woooot?! I made this out of nothing xD" I was really amazed. And it is an awesome feeling. (I can teach you a few stuff If you'd like :yum:

I did a great job hiding the imperfections from the photo then XD hahaha
It is handmade, so a few imperfections are okay

    They're handmade? :cereal:

I was gonna ask what type of machine were you using and maybe learn some tips from you xD I've done sewing for half a year, but with the use of a machine. You're making me wanna try hand sewing. The sweater really looks cosy and the purse is so cute. I love it

I do use a machine XD i see the confusion. All handmade would take me years to finish a project xD

Try and sew again! It'd be fun to share tips

Oh! I thought they were all sewn by hand xD Still, they're really good!
Unfortunately, I don't have much time now. I plan to buy a portable sewing machine after I graduate. It'd be fun to make stuff for friends and family. ^_^

I did sew by hand a part of my father's project. It is still a skill I need. But once I saw a girl that made handmade dresses from gathered fabric. And it was stunning! I'll share If I find it again !

Loved that pun xD Thank you marco chain!

Of course I can make it  Right after I finish my marco polo's voodoo doll  It was requested by a friend too
