I'm on to Part 2 now I have two words... Or really just one word said twice Lisa Lisa Spoiler: google why my peepee hard This show does some real wacky stuff with their colour palettes and I like it
I like this drawing style they use in that woman's face. A beautiful face,a nice hair and those lips and i love blue eyes. She is Jotaro's mom, isn't she?
@Glaze D. Bacon @Robin-Senpai Is The Best are you guys? Also I've just finished Part 2, I'm on to Stardust Crusaders now. I'd heard good things about Jotaro and he hasn't disappointed - my man's shotgunned a beer and we're only 5 minutes in. Me likey
Part 3 is good, I'm actually rewatching it, but i feel like they stretched it way too much. Many episodes look like fillers. It's still very enjoyable and I'd say, out of all the JoJo parts, that is is the one that resembles a typical shonen the most.
I'm following. Only watched first episode so far tho. I'm gonna wait for at least 10 episodes so I can binge watch
Currently about two-thirds through Part 3 Spoiler: Thoughts I think it's been the strongest one so far, mainly because of the travelling group. Jonathan had to carry his group for the most part, and Joseph's, although fun, was a little small. There's more variety with the fighting and the Stand concept is super cool. Joseph is still my favourite JoJo though, I like Jotaro a lot but he's a little too "perfect" - Joseph's tricks/bluffing/general shithousery were more fun. Also I'm very upset they killed off Avdol, the group feels incomplete now EDIT: Just realised there’s 48 episodes and not 24, lol oops
I've just finished it and it blows parts 1 and 2 out of the water imo. I get what you mean about the pacing, I thought some fights were stretched, especially in Season 2. I think if they'd had 40 episodes instead of 48 the pacing might have felt more even, but I have very few complaints because I had a lot of fun watching it Spoiler: Part 3 review I have to say, Jotaro became my favourite JoJo after the Dio fight, which was the best fight the series has produced so far imo. It was the first fight where he had an even match, and it really showed. All the fights Jotaro had pre-Dio felt too easy and it felt like he breezed through them all - getting to see him really go all out was worth the wait. Polnareff also grew on me towards the end as well. It was the cast that really set this part aside from the others - the five of them (and Iggy once he joined) felt like they developed very real friendships, whereas in previous parts the relationships between the JoJo and their travelling party felt like mutual respect at best. As @Cobain said, it felt like a typical shonen and I think a lot of that is down to the camaraderie between the main cast - their sensitivity towards each other was almost as big as their muscles. This scene man I've also just started part 4, I'm 2 episodes in Spoiler The change in art style was kinda surprising but I like it, I feel like I’m watching the Osomatsu-san reboot Jotaro doing all this talking is odd, but I don't mind - the whole stoic schtick he had going probably wouldn't have worked with the role he has to play now. Josuke seems like a fun JoJo, his stand is an interesting one. My only concern is if he can outshine the very charismatic and crazy OP Jotaro. I think he will, but it might take a while for him to really show what he's made of.
