I was talking about Jack, not Kaidou when I stated that he is half Fishman. Also, Vander Decken could not swim anymore but he was still able to breathe under water.
"The loss of the ability to swim affects Decken more than a human Devil Fruit user since, as a fishman, he would have a huge advantage underwater, an advantage he can no longer use due to the side-effects, but still can survive underwater.[12] Also, as a Devil Fruit user, he is powerless in the sea, as he requires a flutter kick coating."

Hahaha, indeed, sorry about that, don't know how Kaido came in the mix when I was writing the comment. In that case,I would agree with you.The idea that Jack could be half fishman would be very logical considering his little dive. Also his appearance wouldn't necessarily need to match that of a fishman's since Delinger has also a half fishman (kind of) and mostly had the appearance of a human.Very well thought indeed. This theory also strengthens my assumption/deduction that Kaido is also not human.I like it.

HAHA thanks! I'm glad I didn't make my own thread!

The idea that it is due to the previous ope no mi user is quite reasonable! I like this theory!

Of course he is not. He is " king of the beasts" so I guess it automatically implies that Kaido isn't human.

I think the exact translation was King of 100 beasts (hinting at his Zoan user army at the time). But well, his other title suggests he's not human as well. 'The strongest creature on earth.'

 I'm really not good at remembering words.. How ever I wanted say, the fact that Kaido isn't human is well known ( I thought everyone knows it and it's a basic fact about him). If it's not I should find valid argument to prove he is non human.

I have been looking around lately in regards to that. However,I want to look around a bit more for more pieces of solid, and hopefully somewhat conclusive, info or facts before I make conclude something on the matter.

It is possible that Kaido is part of the same race as Alvaro Pizarro from the BB Pirates.
It is probably a race that still has to be introduced like the three eyes tribe to which Pudding belongs.

I can see the resemblance, at the very least. It would be interesting if this were true, and I'd say it's quite likely!

If that really is the case, the chanches of BB pirates showing up in Wano are increased! Pizarro was the only prisoner in Impel Down that had a special treatment and I'm sure that we'll find out why sooner or later.

I think Kaido's design is pretty badass! I wouldn't say that he's ugly, he's just intimidating af! Pizarro, on the other hand, is actually an abortion!

After whitebeards death I always figured the other yonko's (BM, Shanks and Kaido) where the resemblence and pinacle of respectivly devil fruit power, haki power and strenght. So in my opinion, Kaido having a devilfruit is no go. @Yuuzume explained it very well and I agree with him.

What Kaido's source of strenght is, I don't know but just like the strenght BM is born with, it could be something from birth (nature). or neverending training (nurture).

I partially agree with you! But do you really think that a "man" who's buying artificial DF to create an army of Zoan DF users does not have one himself?
You could also make a different assumption about each Yonkou.
    For instance:

Black Beard: Logia user (originally, then he stole a paramisha as well)
    Big Mom: Paramisha user
    Kaido: Zoan user
    Shanks: Master of haki

    Wouldn't that make sense?

that list is agreeable, but now we don't have anyone who is just ridiculously powerfull in terms of shear strength just as shanks is master of haki.

The balance of Haki-Strength-DF should be made, but then again, there are 4 yonko and not 3

Going to backtrack just to clarify a missing detail. Kaidou is the strongest "being in the world" because of the different races. Oda uses the word "creature" (forget what word was used in Japanese honestly), because of giants, dwarfs, mermaid, gyojin, long-arm/long-leg, etc. I think the long limbs are still "human", but Oda needed the detail that Kaidou wins 1 on 1 against ANYONE in the world right now.

Got some new people, but if anyone wants to be spoiled on Oda's original plan, feel free to PM me since putting it as a spoiler in a thread irked a few people previously.

Well,to be more precise,I think the word that was used in the anime was 'Seibutsu'. Now if I'm not mistaken, based on my limited knowledge of Japanese, the more direct translation of that would be 'living being'. So yeah,I believe you are correct in what you said.As for the spoiler,I'm normally all for it,but as I have mentioned (I don't remember where),I do have an assumption about Kaido so I think I'll refrain at least until I can back my assumption back more substantially.
