    here's how i do it..
first crack the egg, pour it in a bowl... sprinkle some salt.
stir the egg. then pour it in the pan. wait for it to solidify. and voila!

haha. tho i've heard on Gordon Ramsay's cooking channel that it's best to add salt after cooking the egg..

anyway, i sometimes put tomatoes on the egg, or some chunks of meat loaf/hotdog/tuna

There are many ways to prepare an egg omelet as correctly said by Rip.Pervert

You can add onion in very small piece, if you prefer spice you can add a variety of spice, I prefer magic masala(spice) , I also use Dominos Oregano ^_^ (Every time I experiment with my Omlet like a scientist)

We can all discuss on the local food stuff over here --> https://opforum.net/threads/food-from-your-country.24948/

Whoaaaa I'll take that as a compliment and I feel honoured :yesucan:

Hahaha thanks to you for the compliment as well. He does indeed like many of the things that I cook and even better is the fact that he himself isn't a bad cook either.

Some time has passed, many more dishes have been cooked. Here are some of them.

One day I really wanted to eat a banana pancake for breakfast. Unfortunately it completely failed and everything got stuck on the bottom of the pan. The next day I tried again and this is how it turned out on the second try. It's made out of cornflour because I didn't have wheat flour anymore:

    The brown stuff is cinnamon.

Another day I just made scrambled eggs with ham:

For lunch I can offer some rice with vegetables and fried squid which turned out really delicious:

Some more fried squid, I've been eating it a lot lately. But this time its presentation is preeeeetty minimalistic  I should work on that a little more:

And for dessert some more bananas. Baked bananas, to be precise, with honey, cinnamon and almonds. I gotta admit though that I was a bit too generous with the cinnamon here:

Today's bonus is a curry with rice and fried chicken which my boyfriend and I cooked together:

@R1pp3r D. Pervert This looks very good. What are the calamari filled with?

Alrighty, here are some more photos of what I have cooked recently.

I admit it's a bit repetitive but here's another dish consisting of squid and rice. But the rice does look different from the other times!
The recipe for the rice is from a cooking book for Japanese food and it was suuuuuuper delicious. [IMG]

The other day I was having lunch at a Korean restaurant, I ate a dish called Bibimbap which looks kinda like this. It consists of rice topped by a fried egg and surrounded by different kinds of vegetables, meat, etc. This inspired me to make my own Noob-Bibimbap for dinner.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Here we have a soup made out of my two favourite vegetables decorated by a little, awkwardly placed piece of parsley. It tasted a lot better than it looks.

Talking about being repetitive, here are some more banana-cinnamon-pancakes. But they are different, you know.
First of all, they are smaller. Second, this time I mashed most of the banana and incorporated it directly into the dough (which was made out of cornflour again). The rest of the banana was sliced and put onto the pancakes while frying them. Third, they turned out a lot fluffier than the last one.[IMG] [IMG]

Here's a very unspectacularly looking, but deliciously tasting Chili con Carne (pero sin frijoles hehe).

As for today's bonus: I actually cooked two dishes from R1pp3r's cooking channel. The first one was the leek soup which didn't turn out as well as I would have wanted it. Second was the Sataraš with mashed potatoes which turned out very good and tasty.

That's it for now and I guess for some longer time because otherwise it will really become repetitive.
