Here is my first OP drawing! Constructive criticism welcome! I know I am not the best :3
Well, I'll be honest and say that it's not the best drawing quality but I can easily recognize that it's nami and I'm sure that you put a lot of effort in it! If you draw a lot I'm sure you can improve really soon
Did you draw that from your mind or with a reference picture?
I can ONLY draw using reference pictures! Yeah, I don't care for the arms...
Don't worry, I also have ed reference pictures for my drawings xD
Did you ever try using a tutorial? That might help you (:
I took a class once but that was years ago. The sad part is this is me at my best! I have plenty in my closet that I don't even wanna look at! :p
Hahaha xD But it's cool that you still try And even if you think that's your best you might still improve!
Yeah XD I just need to be consistent with practicing! Thanks for the encouragement
I thought your first drawing would be Robin because you're a fan! XD
Two people showed me their drawings today I couldnt be happier.
I know you draw this from your heart and using references is the one of methods in drawing. So I congratulate both of you.I learn that in college.Im such an immature girl back then.
So for critism.
If you could use a tutorial that would be nice. You will learn the right way to put the eyes, mouth and so on..The most important thing is to practise every day..draw or scribble anything ..everyday for smooth drawing..if you move your hands a lot it will make drawing easier.
Thank you for the advice! I will try to practice more
Oh, yeah. The reason I did Nami first was for chronological reasons and because I knew I might be rusty >:p
The best comes last I would say
Ooohh okay XD
I am doing them pretimeskip and then I will do them posttimeskip. Hopefully I will have improved by then! :3 I am gonna do a lot of them not just Nami and Robin...
Nice job, I couldn't draw Nami half as good as you!
Oh, one thing I do need advice about. When I color, it often smudges. Any technique I can use to avoid that?
I'm not an expert but i drew like that too last year so i still remember how i kinda got over the first stage. I just kept copying one piece drawings everyday. Then i tried new techniques like the side of the body and face and then a drawing where the character is in a fighting pose. Try switching what you're drawing-Like animals, mermaids, humans, and monsters.
But your drawing is pretty good compared to what i drew at first.
place a paper towel underneath the palm of your hand to prevent smudges. Our hands have oils on them that will smudge the pencil/charcoal/color etc.
Drew Robin this time. I can't tell if it is a step up from the last one or not. As usual, constructive criticism welcome
