Oh man...missed this too! And it isn't like the bread part hasn't come up multiple times either. I don't keep up with trends, but I've for sure seen it in downtown. Food is easy to experiment with since it's just a matter of finding a balance of flavors and desserts are probably some of the easiest things to go crazy with. WSJ driven. They've been promoting the crap out of it for years. So I have to think they had smaller/trial versions that got more and more popular until they did an entire restaurant. Off the top of my head, it started at least 5 years back with a Sanji/Baratie 1x event.
