Rather self-explanatory. When you watch a film simply come on here and give it a rating out of 10 and say a little about why you gave it that score.

    I shall begin!!!

I re-watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and it was just as good the second time around. 9/10 - Great, touching story with characters you can really get into. Tis awesome.

    Take it away, folks!

Aha! That's a great thread, more movies recommendations! :D

I re-watched after many many years "My Girl". It's a classic touching story about two childhood friends. I cried all the water that my organism has, what a great movie it is.

9,5/10, for great soundtrack as well ;)

Heh, I'm gonna have to call you out on this phrase :

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are not very good. Orlando Bloom is always bad, but Keira Knightley can act quite well... just not in those films. :P

Although, top notch performances from Johnny Depp (who is channelling Keith Richards) and Geoffrey Rush.

    Movie: Warrior
    Rating: 8/10

I think it was a very good movie. It was really enjoyable even for me, who isn't really interested in fighting sports. It was fairly emotional aswell, although not to the point where you start crying.

Tommy, one of the lead roles, was simply a monster. A very sad monster, built by anger. Tom Hardy, who was playing that role, was a beast. He did a really good job and really made the character monstrous. You can see fragments of Bane in his acting, although it's actually the opposite.

The music didn't exactly stand out but it went well with the movie.

    I'd recommend it to anyone.

    Movie: Connected
    Rating: 9.5/10

It's a remake of the American movie Cellular. The movie is a Hong Kong action film. Sorry to say but I enjoyed the Chinese version more than the American one.

The film tells the story of Bob who receives a distressing phone call on his cellular phone from Grace Wong who has been kidnapped by a gang of corrupt Interpol agents who have a hidden agenda. (via Wikipedia haha!)

By the way, the female lead is the lead in the TV series Meteor Garden (a very popular show in Asia) which is based on the manga Hana Yori Dango.

Yes, Orlando Bloom is rather well trained in film combat. I imagine he picked up a lot of stuff when working for so long on Lord of the Rings.

Personally I'm not into that blockbuster movies, though there are some nice that can be found.

I just watched "Old Boy", a Korean movie about a guy who was imprisoned for 15 years without knowing why is he sitting there for. After he gets out, he's seeking for the person who imprisoned him and of course is seeking for revenge.

A strong movie, very well shot, great acting! There are some "heavy" scenes in the meaning of blood and erotic scenes, so it's definitely R rated or even NC-17.

I'll give it a 8,5/10, because... I knew it! :P If you watch it, you'll understand what I mean.

    PS: I Love You

Why do I keep watching romantic crap? Q_Q It was such a touching movie!! And Gerald Butler's Irish accent was amazing! "..me luv", ah it killed me every time.

9.5/10, because I re-watched it and still cried my eyes out :(

Why does he put on an Irish accent? I haven't seen it, so is there a significance to him being Irish?

Movie: The Beast And The Beauty
    Rating: 9/10

Synopsis: A man discovers that his girlfriend, who is blind, is about to recover her sight through an operation. However, he has lied to her about his appearance, and he is too scared to face her in person.

It's a Korean film and a romantic comedy one. There are lots of funny stuffs the guy does. And the songs in this movie are great. :)

    Movie: Rise Of The Guardians
    Rating: 9/10

Plot: Set about 200 years after the book series, the film tells a story about the Guardians (North or Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Bunnymund or the Easter Bunny, and the Sandman), who enlist Jack Frost to stop Pitch from engulfing the world in darkness.

Yeah, it's an animated film and it was intended for kids. But hey, I'm young at heart. XD It was good. The effects, well you can really appreciate it if you watched the movie in 3D. But it was still awesome, nonetheless.
