LiveChart: https://www.livechart.me/summer-2019/tv Summer. Sunshine, holidays and fancy cocktails with umbrellas in. A truly wonderful time of year. There's also some new anime coming out to provide entertainment while you hide away from the sun and waste your vacation away indoors again (and yes, I'm looking at YOU.) The question is, which anime from the new season will you be watching as you waste away indoors? The first series I'm going to check out from the current list is Dr. Stone - Weekly Shonen Jump's newest star series. Set 3,000+ years in the future after everybody turns to stone, we follow our two main characters Taiju, a boy who just wants to confess to the girl of his dreams (I'm sure all you boys on OPF know what a confession is, you keep doing them to our girl members) and Senku, a 10 billion percent bona fide scientific genius who's determined to discover just why everyone turned to stone all those years ago. Still think science isn't cool? Watch this, it'll change your mind. Another series that catches my eye is Vinland Saga - a manga that's been going on for a while and has attracted a keen audience. I haven't read it personally, but I've heard good things about it, especially the manga art. Also Vikings are cool. Some other intriguing titles on this season's list include: Enn Enn no Shouboutai, which has a premise that sounds hilarious, Dumbell Nan Kilo Metoru?, aka "Do You Even Lift, Sis?", and Kanata no Astra, which is about space travel and I like space. I'll be continuing Carole and Tuesday, and I need to catch up with Kimetsu no Yaiba out of the current crop of leftovers. Oh, and there's a ton of new isekai anime if you haven't had enough yet.
